“General Hospital” Actor Johnny Wactor Fatally Shot During Robbery Attempt

In a tragic turn of events, actor Johnny Wactor, known for his role in “General Hospital,” was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old actor was at West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street with a colleague when they encountered three masked thieves attempting to steal a catalytic converter from his car in downtown LA.

Reports from Mr. Wactor’s mother and the police indicate that despite not resisting, he was shot by one of the suspects, who then fled the scene in a vehicle, as reported by TMZ.                                   

Mr. Wactor was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries, according to a police source.

His mother, Scarlett, provided more details about the incident, revealing that her son had been bartending at a nearby rooftop venue and was returning to his car with three co-workers after assisting with a late-night cleanup. Upon reaching his vehicle, which appeared to be lifted, Mr. Wactor approached the masked individuals, possibly thinking his car was being towed due to unfamiliar parking in the area. Tragically, he was shot by one of the assailants, who then made a swift getaway in a waiting vehicle.
