PTI, New Delhi: On Monday’s business day, there has been a surge in the price of gold. The price of gold has increased by Rs 200 compared to the previous business day.
today latest gold and silver rate : On Thursday, a decline in the price of gold was recorded. According to HDFC Securities, there was a decrease of Rs 28 per 10 grams in the price of gold. Consequently, the price of gold remained at Rs 46,193 per 10 grams. The decline in the price of gold was attributed to the strengthening of the Indian rupee against the US dollar. In comparison to the previous session, the rate of gold remained unchanged at Rs 46,193 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver witnessed a rise of Rs 279 in its price. This led to the current market price of silver reaching Rs 62,650 per kilogram. In the previous session, the price of silver stood at Rs 62,371 per kilogram.
On the international front, the price of gold was trending at $1,814 per ounce with a slight increase. Similarly, the price of silver remained steady at $24.17 per ounce.
Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) at HDFC Securities, stated, “Gold prices on the COMEX (Commodity Exchange based in New York) were trending at $1,814 per ounce with a slight increase. Amid mixed global cues, gold prices remained within the upper trading range.”
Gold Futures Prices:
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, in October 2021, the rate for gold futures for delivery was trending at Rs 47,111 per 10 grams, with an increase of Rs 43, i.e., a rise of 0.09%. Similarly, in the December contract, the price of gold futures was trending at Rs 47,329 per 10 grams, with a rise of Rs 113, i.e., a surge of 0.24%.
Silver Futures Prices:
s:In December 2021, the price of silver futures for delivery was trending at Rs 63,752 per kilogram, with a decrease of Rs 88, i.e., a decline of 0.14%. Similarly, in the March 2022 contract, the price of silver futures was trending at Rs 64,530 per kilogram, with a decrease of Rs 159, i.e., a decline of 0.25%.
