Kabir Nagar tragedy: In the early hours of Thursday morning, tragedy struck in Delhi’s Kabir Nagar as a two-story building collapsed, resulting in the loss of lives of two individuals and leaving several others injured. The incident, which occurred around 2:16 AM, has left the community in shock and mourning. 
Initial reports indicate that Arshad, aged 30, and Tauheed, aged 20, were declared dead upon arrival at the GTB Hospital. The collapse also resulted in serious injuries to several others, whose treatment is currently underway.
According to Northeast DCP Joy Tirkey, a distress call was received around 2:16 AM, informing authorities of the building collapse. Three injured individuals were immediately rushed to GTB Hospital, where the unfortunate demise of Arshad and Tauheed was confirmed by medical professionals.
Rehan, aged 22, is among those critically injured and is currently receiving medical care. Tirkey emphasized that legal action will be taken in this matter, and further investigation is underway.
In response to the incident, police officials have provided insights into the events leading up to the collapse. Tirkey mentioned that the situation was grave, with three laborers trapped under the debris.
Rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene, and visuals from the morning depict efforts to clear the rubble and extricate individuals. Police have assured that necessary legal actions will be taken in response to this tragic incident.
